When you first undergo TRT your levels can fluctuate significantly. Initially this doesn’t mean the TRT program isn’t working, but if you’re finding a complete cessation of “morning wood” that could mean that your program is not yet optimized to your body’s needs.
Managing expectations is important on TRT because the initial response to treatment doesn’t always guarantee sustained response. That said, it’s also important to discuss these changes with your medical provider so that you can decide together if further testing is indicated at your next check up.
