question from a user

What are the preferred numbers you would want to see your client achieve after getting on TRT?

AlphaMD's Answer

We have no specific target number for testosterone. Some men feel best with levels between 650-700. Others feel best with levels over 1400 ng/dL. So really we base dosing off of your individual results and how well that dose resolves your low T symptoms.

As is true with any medicine, higher doses come with greater risk of side effects. That being said, most of our patients say they feel best with levels between 850-1000 ng/dL
