How to Upload Your Lab Results or Documents to Your AlphaMD Account (Desktop & Mobile)

Uploading your lab results or other medical documents helps the provider overseeing your care review your history and guide next steps. Follow the steps below, or watch the embedded video for a quick walkthrough.

Desktop (recommended)

  1. Go to alphamd.org and log into your account.
  2. Click My Account, then at the bottom of the dropdown select Lab Results / Upload Files.
  3. Click the red “Upload New Files” button.
  1. Choose your file and follow the on-screen prompts to submit and save.
  2. That’s it—AlphaMD is notified automatically. Your provider will review your upload and message you with any questions or next steps.
  3. To check what you uploaded, click the blue “View” button.

Mobile

  1. In your mobile browser, go to alphamd.org and sign in.
  2. Tap the account icon in the upper right corner.
  3. At the bottom of the menu, tap Lab Results / Upload Files.
  4. Tap the blue “Upload Files” button.
  5. Choose your file and follow the prompts to submit and save.
  6. AlphaMD is notified automatically; it will be reviewed, and we'll follow up if anything else is needed.
  7. To see what you uploaded, tap the blue “View” button.

Tips for a Smooth Upload

  • Use clear filenames (e.g., CBC_Labs_2025-07-12.pdf) so your clinician can find things quickly.
  • Combine pages before uploading if you have multi-page results (PDF works well).
  • If an upload fails, try a stable internet connection, ensure the file is in a common format (e.g., PDF or image), and check the file size.
  • Need to add context? Include a short description during upload (e.g., where the labs were done, test date).

FAQs

Where do I see past results?
On the Lab Results / Upload Files page you’ll see results from labs coordinated through AlphaMD (for new patients) plus anything you’ve uploaded since transferring your care.

Can I upload labs from my primary care provider or another clinic?
Yes—this is the right place to upload external results for your provider to review.

How will I know my file was received?
After you submit and save, AlphaMD is notified automatically. You’ll receive a message in your account if there are questions or next steps.

I can’t find “Lab Results / Upload Files.” What should I do?
Make sure you’re logged in. If you still don’t see it, try a desktop browser or refresh the page. If it persists, send us a secure message from your account.
